Over the last 20 years I have worked as a sculptor and lecturer at the Victorian College of the Arts.  I have exhibited nationally in numerous solo and group exhibitions and recently have concentrated on urban art/public space projects.  In 2010 I completed a commission  for several enclosures of the ‘Wild Sea’ exhibit for the Melbourne Zoo.  I worked with landscape architects Taylor Cullity Lethlean to create the enclosures.

My current project is ‘the river runs through it’ which is located adjacent to the new ANZ Centre, Collins Street, Victoria Harbour.  The work utilises a number of different forms, materials, shapes and spaces.

This project is the culmination of a number of ideas I have for how sculpture can work in the public domain. Although I have made many ‘discrete object’ sculptures I see the potential in a public work to engage the viewer in such a way that the  sculpture’s boundary is indistinct.
